Get Ready for the Digital Customer Registry!

The Digital Customer Registry of AADE is a new mandatory digital customer logging system, expected to be implemented in 2025. The goal of the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) is to enable real-time monitoring of customer transactions and strengthen tax transparency. SBZ and its application EMDI are already prepared to fully support this new requirement, ensuring compliance with ease and reliability.

What is the Digital Customer Registry?

The Digital Customer Registry is a mandatory online application that records customer data for both retail and wholesale transactions. Registration takes place in real time and before the service is provided.

The registry includes:

  • Company & customer information
  • Vehicle license plate number (where applicable)
  • Type and purpose of the service provided
  • Issued documents and payment methods
  • Date and time of customer entry/service

This system enables AADE to cross-check data and identify inconsistencies based on business activity codes (KAD), strengthening fiscal compliance across the board.

Who is affected?

The rollout will happen gradually. In the first phase, it applies to businesses involved in vehicle-related services, such as:

  • Car repair and maintenance workshops

  • Body shops

  • Tire services (vulcanizers)

  • Car wash stations

  • Parking facilities

  • Vehicle rental companies (cars/motorcycles)

  • Any business offering similar services

In later phases, the following will also be included:

  • Gyms & wellness centers

  • Private medical practitioners

  • Catering & other personalized service providers
