1. First, confirm that your POS version is 3056 or 1056 on 8.10.24, or newer.
2. In the terminal’s application select the icon «Settings ⚙️», and the «Other settings» option.
3. There you will find a three state switch (tristate switch) named Midware which you will need to set on the right possition with the ERP/SC text.
4. Then, take a not of your terminal’s ΤΙD which is located in the starting screen.
5. Head to api.sbz.gr and enter your credentials. (if you do not possess them, press Request a new password now).
6. From the top-right at “Profile”, press “Settings”.
7. Notice the fields underneath “Payment Terminals”.
8. Enter the TID in the AUTHORIZATION field.
9. Then, select the INSS option from the dropdown menu on the right.
10. In the SOURCE field, provide a name for your POS terminal, e.g. CARD (with latin characters exclusively).
11. Press the Add/Edit button.
12. A SUCCESS message should show up.
13. After upgrading EMDI the section Payment terminals should show up.
14. Choosing the Payment Terminals field, you will need to ✔️ the WebECR option. In the «Source Name» you should write down the name of your POS the exact same way you did in the API i.e. Card.
15. Next, we go to “Payment Methods” and create a payment method, e.g., Card POS. We set it as paid and configure it to be in order -1.
16. We save, close, and reopen the settings.
17. We go to “Payment Methods” and for the payment method CASH, we add the previously created method, i.e., Card POS, as an additional payment method.
18. We proceed to Tax Connections, in Matching Variables. For the payment method we just created, we select POS in the “MyData Payment Method” field.
19. Finally, we proceed to Purchases/Sales🔴, and create a test Retail Receipt with the product name POS TEST for 0.10 cents. The payment method CASH should already be pre-selected so that the following window appears during the entry.
20. Here, you can split the payment if the customer requests, for example, half with a card and the rest with cash.
21. Whether the payment is split or not, if it is with a card, we press the 💳Card button.
22. A window will appear asking for either an installment or a tip. (you can ignore it if you do not want to proceed)
23. We select the card we created, Card POS, the payment is sent automatically.
24. We also make a return receipt to return the money to the card through the POS terminal.
25. If everything works correctly, we need to check on api.sbz.gr to see if there is the 💳 icon on the documents paid with a card.
